TRICONEX 4351B is Tricon TCM communication module, compatible with Triconex Tricon v10.0 and above triple modular redundant TMR safety instrumented system, it adopts rack slot‑mount installation structure.

The module is equipped with 4 DB‑9 RS‑232/RS‑485 serial ports with maximum baud rate 115.2Kbps per port, and 2 RJ‑45 10/100Base‑T auto‑sensing Ethernet ports. Each port provides 500VDC isolation to resist on‑site electromagnetic interference.

It supports multiple industrial protocols including TriStation, Modbus RTU/TCP, TSAA, SNTP and peer‑to‑peer UDP/IP. Powered by 24V DC with redundant power input supported, serial ports can be individually set as Modbus master or slave, up to 32 Modbus external devices can be connected in one system. Built‑in diagnosis function can report real‑time communication link status. Serving as external data exchange gateway for Tricon safety controller, this module completes data transmission between safety system and DCS, HMI, other Tricon controllers and host monitoring computers.

It supports program download, parameter setting, process data read‑write and fault diagnostic data upload. It is widely deployed in oil‑gas, chemical refining, power plant ESD emergency shutdown and SIS safety interlock projects. It is used for spare‑part replacement and system retrofit to guarantee stable communication of safety control system。
